Keeping the little ones well entertained is our main priority over the summer. Whether we’re having arts and crafts days in or adventurous days out, we all know how important it is to have an endless supply of snacks. Our Mango & Carrot Oat Bars and Blueberry & Banana Oat Bars are the perfect way to fill gaps between meals throughout the day, but here are some more healthy ideas to keep the snack basket filled.

  1. Bliss balls

An easy peasy all-around crowd pleaser. Even better when your little ones get involved to make them themselves and pick their own flavours. Our lovely friends @feedingarcher on Instagram made these delicious bliss balls using our Blueberry & Coconut Quinoa Porridge with their usual milk (thicker than usual so that it rolls easily), and rolled in desiccated coconut flakes.

  1. Crudités

What savoury bits do you have lying around in the cupboards or the fridge? Bread sticks, dairy free cheese, carrots, cucumbers? Whatever you have, chop them into chunk sized bites or fingers and pop them in their snack box. The more variety, the better!

  1. Fruit bags

You’ve done the savouries, now it’s time to get the naturally sweet fruits out! Offering savoury and sweet snacks at different points throughout the day help to add variety. So slice up some grapes, apples, pineapple and whatever else is in the fruit bowl (you may want to avoid berries on days out as they will be messy)!

  1. Munch Free Oat Bars

Of course, it wouldn’t be a summer snack box without our oat bars. Both our Mango & Carrot, and Blueberry & Banana Oat Bars are full of dried fruit and veg, and chia seeds, the perfect high fibre, on the go snacks. They are available as single packs, multipacks of 4 and cases of 16 for our super fans!

Happy snacking!
